The three AI tools (extend, upscale, remove background) send the image to the AI provider kie.ai, which deletes the upload after 24 hours and the result after 14 days. - Free use: every non-AI tool, no account, no watermark; 20 images per batch (50 with a free account), files up to 20 MB, batch results downloaded one by one. - Paid: Pro $9/month or $65/year (the first 200 subscribers get 45% off while subscribed) and a $2.99 Day Pass (24 hours) add 500-image batches, 50 MB files and one-click ZIP downloads. - AI tools: need a free account and credits (packs from $5.99 for 100 credits; purchased credits never expire). AI image extender 5 credits a run, AI upscaler 8 credits (2x) or 12 (4x, results up to 4096 px), background removal 1 credit. Failed runs are refunded automatically. One image at a time. - Not included: no design editor (text, templates, layers), no AI image generation from text, no face detection, no video, no mobile app, no cloud storage. - Sizes: taken from platform documentation; overlays platforms do not publish are measured from the apps and marked approximate; every size page shows the month it was last checked. ## Open data and AI agents - [Image sizes as JSON](https://cropden.com/data/social-media-image-sizes.json): every size on this site with safe zones, upload limits and passport photo specs; CC BY 4.0 - [GitHub: social-media-image-sizes](https://github.com/geektao1024/social-media-image-sizes): the same data as an npm package, plus an agent skill that crops images to these sizes - MCP server: https://cropden.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP). get_image_sizes is free without a key; ai_extend_image, ai_upscale_image and ai_remove_background use CropDen credits and need an API key from https://cropden.com/settings/apikeys ## Tools Tools under /tools/ai-* and /tools/remove-background are AI tools that run on a server and use credits; every other tool runs in the browser and never uploads images. - [Crop to 4:3](https://cropden.com/crop/4-3): crop or resize images to 4:3 - [Crop to 16:9](https://cropden.com/crop/16-9): crop or resize images to 16:9 - [Crop to 1:1](https://cropden.com/crop/1-1): crop or resize images to 1:1 - [Instagram post size](https://cropden.com/resize/instagram-post): recommended 1080×1440 px; 6 presets with safe zones - [Instagram story size](https://cropden.com/resize/instagram-story): recommended 1080×1920 px; 3 presets with safe zones - [Instagram profile picture size](https://cropden.com/resize/instagram-profile): recommended 320×320 px; 3 presets with safe zones - [YouTube banner size](https://cropden.com/resize/youtube-banner): recommended 2560×1440 px; 4 presets with safe zones - [YouTube thumbnail size](https://cropden.com/resize/youtube-thumbnail): recommended 3840×2160 px; 3 presets with safe zones - [YouTube Shorts size](https://cropden.com/resize/youtube-shorts): recommended 1080×1920 px; 3 presets with safe zones - [Facebook cover photo size](https://cropden.com/resize/facebook-cover): recommended 851×315 px; 3 presets with safe zones - [Discord banner size](https://cropden.com/resize/discord-banner): recommended 600×240 px; 4 presets with safe zones - [Discord emoji size](https://cropden.com/resize/discord-emoji): recommended 128×128 px; 3 presets with safe zones - [LinkedIn banner size](https://cropden.com/resize/linkedin-banner): recommended 1584×396 px; 4 presets with safe zones - [Twitter (X) header size](https://cropden.com/resize/twitter-header): recommended 1500×500 px; 4 presets with safe zones - [Passport photo size](https://cropden.com/resize/passport-photo): recommended 600×600 px; 6 presets with safe zones - [Twitch banner size](https://cropden.com/resize/twitch-banner): recommended 1200×480 px; 4 presets with safe zones - [TikTok video size](https://cropden.com/resize/tiktok-video): recommended 1080×1920 px; 3 presets with safe zones - [Compress image to 20 KB](https://cropden.com/compress-to/20kb) - [Compress image to 50 KB](https://cropden.com/compress-to/50kb) - [Compress image to 100 KB](https://cropden.com/compress-to/100kb) - [Compress image to 200 KB](https://cropden.com/compress-to/200kb) - [Compress image to 500 KB](https://cropden.com/compress-to/500kb) - [Compress image to 1 MB](https://cropden.com/compress-to/1mb) - [Compress image to 2 MB](https://cropden.com/compress-to/2mb) - [TIFF to JPG](https://cropden.com/convert/tiff-to-jpg) - [Image to pixel art](https://cropden.com/tools/pixel-art) - [AI image extender](https://cropden.com/tools/ai-image-extender) - [AI image upscaler](https://cropden.com/tools/ai-image-upscaler) - [Remove background](https://cropden.com/tools/remove-background) - [Aspect ratio calculator](https://cropden.com/tools/aspect-ratio-calculator) ## Blog Posts - [How Much of Your Image Each Platform Actually Shows (2026 Data)](https://cropden.com/blog/how-much-of-your-image-each-platform-shows): Only 17.7% of a YouTube banner shows on every device; a square Instagram post loses 25% on the grid. 16 formats ranked by how much survives crops and app overlays. - [How to Make a US Passport Photo at Home (2×2 in), Free](https://cropden.com/blog/how-to-make-a-passport-photo-at-home): Have someone photograph you against a white wall in soft daylight, crop to 2×2 in with the head 1 to 1⅜ in tall, then print a 4×6 sheet at a photo counter. - [How to Post a Full Photo on Instagram Without Cropping](https://cropden.com/blog/post-full-photo-on-instagram-without-cropping): Pad the photo onto a 1080 × 1350 or 1080 × 1440 px canvas (1080 × 1920 for stories) with a blurred or white fill.
