Privacy Policy

The short version

CropDen's image tools run inside your browser. When you crop, resize, compress or convert an image, the file is opened and processed on your own device. Your images are never uploaded to our servers, and we can't see them.

Images you process

• Files you drop, paste or choose are read by your browser and kept in its memory only while the page is open.
• Cropped, compressed or converted results are created in your browser and saved straight to your device when you download them.
• Closing or reloading the page discards them. We keep no copies because we never receive any.

Information we do collect

1. Basic usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) for security and to keep the service running. If analytics is enabled, we measure page views and general usage patterns in aggregate. Analytics never includes the contents of your images.
2. Account information (optional). The tools work without an account. If you create one, we store your name, email address and sign-in details so you can log in.
3. Payments (if offered). If you buy a paid feature, payment details are handled by the payment provider (for example Stripe or PayPal). We receive confirmation of the purchase, not your full card number.
4. Messages you send us. If you email us or open a support ticket, we keep that conversation so we can help.

Cookies

We use cookies to remember your language and theme, keep you signed in if you have an account, and, where enabled, for analytics and advertising. Where the law requires it, we ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.

Advertising

Some pages may show ads from third-party networks such as Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies to show relevant ads and measure them. You can manage personalized advertising in your Google ad settings.

How we use information

We use it to operate and secure the site, fix problems, understand which tools are useful, respond to you, and meet legal obligations. We don't sell personal information.

Keeping and deleting data

Server logs are kept for a limited time. Account data is kept while your account is active; you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request.

Children

CropDen is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
